  • Passion to reach the adolescent masses and have conducted outreach services like anemia detection and treatment, deworming, menstural hygiene, health awareness camps for 50,000 girls every year since the last ten years

  • HIV AIDS – knowledge, attitudes and practices in private sector providers
  • Contraception – expanding the use of IUCD and PPIUCD in public and private providers
  • Postpartum depression – new scoring system in indian women
  • Diabetes in pregnancy – prevalence – longterm outcomes and new methods for screening and diagnosis
  • Cervical cancer and vaccines – awareness and screening / mother – daughter initiatives
  • Collaborated with Columbia Univarsity for community work for pre ecclampsia care

  1. Conducted MRCOG part two training course for Indian students by sourcing the RCOG faculty from UK – from 2003 to 2007

  4. Involved in discussions for ways forward for MRCOG exams in India
